		<description>I believe the idea is that by doing the calculations above, you see how many calories you burn per day just by living your life and being you. So, in your case, you burn 1782 calories normally.

Then, if you eat 1782 calories a day, you will stay the same weight perpetually. But if you want to lose a pound in a week, then you should keep living your life the same, but only eat 1282 calories every day for a week. (That&#039;s your calories level minus 500.)
