You’re here, which means you’re at least curious about making a change with your life.  Maybe you want to start lifting weights, maybe you want to run a 5k and don’t know where to begin, or maybe your doctor told you that you need to start exercising.  Whatever your reasons may be, you’ve come to the right place.

That’s the big secret when it comes to fitness.  There’s no miracle pill, no special drink that makes you burn more calories than normal, and no miracle workout plan to give you 6-pack abs in 2 weeks.

If you’re trying to lose weight, you need to burn 500 more calories, eat 500 less calories, or find a combination of the two, every day, to lose 1 pound of body fat per week.  Example, eat 250 less calories every day and find an activity that burns 250 calories every day, and you’ll lose 1 pound every week.
