    • Well met, Rebels!   Trying a little something new this challenge. Adding a bit of RPG to the challenge based on Rebel One's last email. Read on!   Your band of heroes and adventures have made their way to the edge of the Motivat Mountains, and you've stumbled upon the Teetering Tavern - a glorious sight after your last grueling  challenge!   For generations, this meeting spot for weary travelers has precariously balanced on the edge of a steep mountain drop (great views, a little scary, hope your not afraid of heights). But in the last few weeks, a series of Rock Gollum skirmishes near the base of the mountain has worn away at the cliff and the tavern is now LITERALLY TEETERING ON THE EDGE!  We have to stabilize it by tipping the scales securely to the side of stable land! It looks like your search for a quiet place to grab a drink and get some rest looks to be a little delayed... well at least the rest part!   Your task:  Every day you hit your adventure goals (or make positive process towards them), mark your progress by adding a physical object to the Teetering Tavern's Topple Termination Tub (A container we set up opposite the cliffside of the Teetering Tavern)!   What this means... Set up a way to additively track your progress in a physical way. Here are some examples Set up a Jar and add a marble or coin to the jar every time you hit your goal! Pin a clip to a ribbon or piece of paper every time you tackle a challenge! Build a LEGO Rock Gollum to battle the ones who put us in this predicament one piece at a time, only adding a piece when you stay true to your challenge goals. More examples at this link: https://email.nerdfitness.com/posts/maybe-seinfeld-had-it-wrong (I don't know who this Seinfeld hero is, but I like his fashionable puffy shirt)   Not only will you have a fun way to track your adventures and progress, but with the help of the entire Rebellion, we should be able to provide enough counterbalance to de-teeter this tavern!   Oh and did I mention - free drinks for all heroes who add to the Teetering Tavern's Topple Termination Tub! Cheers!
    • Sorry if you've talked about this, or it's already been suggested, but I've found a nighttime foot brace to be really helpful for food pain in the past.
    • There is wisdom in picking your battles.  And also seeing if there are other ways to skin that cat.   Fasting is an option, and one that could work with your weight loss goals. There's OMAD, and there's the older, less bothered by small handfuls of 50 calories here and there, Warrior Diet, which is basically OMAD with minor snacking. (Technically it's 20/4 intermittent fasting, but once you get down to like a four hour eating window, you're just debating how leisurely the meal is, IMO.)   For a lot of countries in Europe, breakfast is literally almost nothing. A coffee and some cookies in Italy (genuinely), a coffee and some bread in France. Wheat is out, but (not remembering your macros) maybe a box of granola bars is in. They tend to be cheapish for kids lunches. Bowls of fruit lying around. That could all take care of one meal pretty quickly, if you decide a coffee and a snack is totally the continental breakfast you're aiming for, and not just what you did accidentally.     Anyway. Have been there. "Things on crackers" is a whole meal genre. I'd do it way more often, if only my macros didn't mean I have to make all my crackers, which defeats the whole point.
    • I took initiative and planned a lunch and dinner (kind of) for today. Lunch I grabbed some freeze burnt chicken and seasoned the crap out of it. We will be having simple tacos with chicken, cheese and apple, carrot, cucumber slaw.    For dinner I took beef chunks out of the freezer and I'm not 100% sure what to make yet with it. I was thinking a Chinese beef broccoli deal but we had something similar during the week. So I think I've settled on bulgogi and broccoli.   Also small win I had some motivation to start cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes. I'm glad I did because it made food prep far more enjoyable.
    • Coffee table assembled, and I really like it. Shelves placed in the cabinet and games placed on the shelves.  This is good. This is the Way. Definitely nap time.
    • I feel it's more time-based but that's not a terrible idea. I didn't think to try and look at my step count of the previous day if my feet hurt. I'll do that from now on! I love walking 🥲 walking doesn't love me lol
    • Lots of singing this weekend, SO much fun. Love my weird cult hobby ❤️ Food was coffee breakfasts and then lunch/snacks and dinner. Don't think I ate awfully though. Got physio and a day walk done, and did some squats one day and poi another. Bed was late but that's the singing weekend innit.   Friay: 🍜 0pts🚶‍♀️5pts 🌞 5pts 🦵 5pts 🍑 5pts💡0pts Yesterday: 🍻 0pts🚶‍♀️5pts 🌞 5pts 🦵 5pts 🤹‍♀️ 5pts 💡0pts Total: 990   Oooookayyyy. Hungover this morning which means I ate breakfast, then a long drive to my sister's with car snacks, and I'm eating crap at my niece's birthday party right now. It's the final day but food is pretty much a -10pts right now. Not sure I'll be able to get a daytime walk in, but assuming I can get to bed 10:30pm I should be able to do physio and some other exercise to just get over 1000 to pass the challenge...
    • It feels a bit too much for where I am right now on the cooking/plan/sorting/storage front, but it is def the direction that I want to be moving in. I really like the idea of having little modules set up that I can spend 10-15 minutes finishing for a new dinner on a weeknight, rather than just throwing the same leftovers in the microwave.      Thank you
    • I had an amazing time thanks! A little hungover and sleepy this morning but for good times so that's ok 😅
    • Oo, that's interesting, I didn't know that!   And thank you. I'm sure it'll be better in time, I'm just hoping to have a bit more of a plan to deal with it soon.
