    • Havent got much of anything done today. Weather is stormy, but it wont make its mind up and just get to the thunderstorm bit so keeps going cold with cloud then sunny and hot and repeat, like a broken record.  very restless (definitely the weather) so spent most of the morning wandering around the house burning energy doing not a lot of anything.  doing the darebee exercise for the day and watering the greenhouses is seriously the most ive achieved today.
    • Tuesday 14 May Busy day at work, especially since I need to wrap up stuff before my deffy time off. I was planned to start the next day chill going to an out of town court for some paper submitting, then I'm also leaving early on Thursday for my therapist appointment, so I used the opportunity to stay at the office past my regular time to get some stuff done (and look super dedicated while at it). Despite the many hours spent at work, I still got home to have dinner before my eating window ran out, spent some time listening to my favourite podcast live as I was digesting the food and then hit the weights around midnight.   3x9 Bench Press 3x9 Pull Overs 3x9 Overhead Press 3x13 Biceps Curls 3x16 Skull Crushers 3x16 Rear Delt Flyes 3x16 Side Lateral Raises 3x9 Front Squat 3x9 Romanian Deadlift 3x16 Calf Raises
    • I had a challenge years ago to get to 50 pressups, which I did, and then someone pointed out I was 'doing them wrong' as I should have elbows tucked. Despite upping all of my weight training over the last few years, I still can't do a 'real' pressup so I just don't do them any more
    • Ok, nopeing out of those 😆   🐝 I did 10 knee pressups. Tried for full ones but because apparently i havent done full pressups in long enough i cant do them at the moment. *sigh* one more thing to put on the morning to do list.
    • Ahhhh, Redwall was so much of my childhood/teen years until I was recommended Discworld! I wonder if I'd still enjoy them...     This sounds lovely ❤️ I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes an umbrella to use as a parasol when it's hot! Also, I got a great tip from a travel website that having one of those thin material scarf/shawl things is handy as you can use it when it's cold and then as a shade when it's hot!
    • I know a lot of these people and I've always been very undecided about kids so will only talk about it if someone else mentions it really. I also find people talking incessantly about their children SO boring - I tend to be polite but I'm more interested in the people who've maintained their own identity after having kids     I've been thinking a LOT about this lately - I've worked in the NHS 18yrs this year, and given retirement is around 30yrs away (as it'll prob be 70 by the time I get there), do I really want to spend my life not enjoying work? Unfortunately I have zero idea what I want to be when I grow up...     ... except this Though I'm definitely the kind of person who would need something to do to keep me entertained/chatting to people.     I've found I've got a lot more open about this too, especially as I'm exploring more about myself - I think having similarly minded friends and the like helps
    • Setting: New Meridian City, a metropolis ruled by the iron fist of the Zenith Corporation. Towering Zenith skyscrapers pierce the smog-filled sky, casting long shadows over the downtrodden citizens below. The Heroes: You are a group of rogue superhumans, ostracized and hunted by Zenith's elite enforcers, the Zenith Guard. Despite the danger, you fight for the oppressed, using your unique abilities to protect the city's underbelly. Characters (choose one): Sparks: A brilliant inventor with cybernetic enhancements, capable of manipulating electricity and creating devastating energy blasts. Wraith: A master of shadows and illusions, able to teleport, become invisible, and manipulate minds through deception. Titan: A powerhouse with superhuman strength and durability, capable of shattering concrete and leaping across buildings. Zephyr: A nimble and agile fighter with the power to control wind, creating powerful gusts and even gliding on air currents. The Mission: Tonight, whispers on the street reveal Zenith is transporting a shipment of dangerous bio-weapons through a heavily guarded underground tunnel network. Your team must infiltrate the tunnels, disable the shipment, and expose Zenith's corruption to the public. The Challenge: Infiltration: Reaching the tunnels requires navigating the heavily patrolled streets of New Meridian City, avoiding Zenith Guard patrols and security cameras. The Tunnels: The labyrinthine tunnel network is filled with automated defenses, laser grids, and robotic security drones. The Shipment: Disabling the bio-weapons requires bypassing complex security protocols and potentially facing a powerful Zenith operative guarding the payload. Escape: After disabling the weapons, you must fight your way back out of the tunnels, potentially with the entire Zenith Guard on high alert.
    • I have to go in once a fortnight with the team, but go in 2-3 times a week for mental health - as an extrovert living alone, the cat isn't quite enough company for me
    • Well this wasn't fun this morning... I definitely skipped the pressup section of the burpee, and it was largely flailing around rather than any kind of effective form. I was about to say I should give myself half a bee for this, but actually I did jumping-jack arms with the jump so that balances out the lack of pressup.... RIGHT?!     I made the mistake excellent decision to search for a bee gif and found this entire bizarre series - would recommend  just search 'bee' and you'll see them...
