    • Curse the fickleness of the weather! I woke up briefly this morning to the sound of a lovely downpour, but I went back to sleep and not it isn't raining.  How am I supposed to decide what to do today if I base the choice on what the weather is doing when I wake up, and it's doing different things the two times? I'm calling my local weatherman and lodging a complaint!   If I'm honest, I think I was trying to come up with an excuse not to go to the museum. The pills help with the agoraphobia, but it's still there. I know I won't go tomorrow; painting class. I might go Sunday...   Plan for today Shower Put lotion on feet Listen to praise music Change cat litter Utah Museum of Fine Arts Dr. Appointment Make grocery order Drink bottle of plain water Brush and floss In bed by 10   It opens in less than an hour, need to get moving
    • What a great update, Sal!! I'm so excited for things! I really hope the interview goes well and you land the job!!
    • Hope you are feeling better soon and the painting goes well!
    • This week has been even worse.  My tracking spreadsheet is littered with red and orange.  I had one nice day after the migraine and then started to feel sick with some head cold.   Food has been relegated to comfort foods and whatever DDG puts in front of me.  Plus our kitchen is getting painted on Monday so DDG has been working diligently to get some things packed up so it's out of the way.  The stove has been covered in piles of dishes for me to sort.  There was some Domino's.  I've been working from home since Thursday so activity levels are at a low.   We have some things planned for Saturday so hopefully I'll be feeling up to them.      I hope you all are having a wonderful week and all your goals are just sliding into place.
    • I'm finding it difficult to update routinely and I'm not sure why.  But catching up now.     Definitely hit some hiccups last week.   Wednesday was a food day at work.  I had a good weigh in that morning and felt motivated to be reasonable.. but then there were cheesy potatoes and bacon wrapped lil smokies, and 3 kinds of cake.  It was far from reasonable.  But dinner plans changed that night so I just had a banana.    Then started getting a migraine Friday but what busted the deficit goal was leftover banana cake and some treats that a customer dropped by.  The migraine does make decision making more difficult.   The migraine lasted through Saturday with a hangover lasting until Monday.   We grilled a bunch of meats the Sunday before and had yummy leftovers all week, burgers, brats, and some chicken.   Saturday we went to a concert (Hairball - an 80's rock cover band).  We had plans to meet up with DDGs brother for dinner but I spent most of the day sleeping off the migraine so our dinner plans never materialized.  DDG and I just grabbed some fast food philly subs for dinner.   Mostly got all fitness in.  We had an extra walk planned for Friday and migraine hadn't presented itself but I could tell I just wasn't up for it so we skipped it.
    • W5D5: one regular DrP in the morning, and I made sure not to have any more caffeine after 9am.  Lunch was the meatloaf prep, augmented by way too many work snacks.  When I got home I had a few more snacks, then MFG made beef chili for dinner which I ate with rice, cheese, and a big side of steamed broccoli.  After dinner I finished off the rocky road and the Cocoa Pebbles, so at least those are gone in time for the next challenge.  5043 kcal
    • Does the school itself have any cheating/dishonesty policies?
    • I think we're at about a 30-40% failure rate. We've kept 4 and given back 6-8, so not super terrible?
    • Apparently we exported our version of it and then got the American/australian version back again. “Two-penny” or “Tuppence worth” or something similar is the old british version. We use this version in our house, i got it from my grandfather.    sorry to hear the leg issues are still plaguing you. Hope they improve for you over the summer.
    • ^ This is precisely why I should be making more frequent shorter posts. I actually did 3 exercises last week, not just the 2 DailyDares. There were also 60 seconds of jumping jacks, since that was a "one-day challenge" from work - something they launch about twice per year with a different exercise each time. Employees are encouraged to take photos or videos while doing the exercise which they then combine into a video. The jumping jacks were set to "Jump Around" by The House of Pain in the video.     Yesterday evening I went for a very long walk, and I've already gone on an extended lunch break walk today. I started it a tad early since the weather predictions were saying it would start raining at noon. It's almost 2 in the afternoon now and it just now started drizzling. Oh well. I got my steps in, and I remained dry. Win! Also did 2 DailyDares yesterday, and I've already done today's exercise as well.   Sadly, I stayed up too long to watch the snooker highlights, so my curfew and sleep length have suffered, but otherwise, this is one of the greenest logs in a while. Check out the food and steps blocks! And the distance on the road to Mordor! 😍     Week 5   M T W T F S S Intermittent fasting               Calorie intake               Calories spent               Calories in/out deficit               Curfew               Sleep               Avg. sleep 6h02 Steps               Avg. steps 18.24K Distance 48.18 km Workouts 0.5 Days with (mini-)workouts 3       Weekly weigh-in   Weight: 94.05 kg (-0.10) Body fat: 23.1 % (+0.4)   I did not enjoy seeing this. There was no food shenanigans in the weekend, and I just had 4 consecutive days with less than 2.4K calories intake and over 3.5K calories spent - yesterday even 4K+. That merits more than 100g of weight loss. Damnit, body, would it have killed you to drop under 94 kg??? 😠       Here's another band I'm definitely going to go see at the Alcatraz festival. Another of those younger bands that play classic 80s power metal. I very much enjoyed H.E.A.T. and Dynazty last year, so more of this is very welcome. It's the Finnish band Beast in Black (who toured together with Gloryhammer in a double "Glory and the Beast" bill these past months). Should be fun.   Beast in Black - Blind and Frozen
