    • Hey, I'm right there with you. I want to do all the things all the time, and it's hard.   I would be loathe to advise counter to what the physios and doctors and imaging are going to tell you - again, I can't stress enough, I'm just a guy on the internet with impaired information - but in terms of practical/practicable advice I'd probably want to know what it is you're doing before I try to advise you. Maybe if I know what all you're doing, I can give you something useful in terms of cramming it all in or making it more efficient, or maybe even advising around what might not be so necessary.   If you want!

    • I am the same. I find building in extra time for life happening into plans helps. Mostly though i am with you on the habit vs extremis thing. My progress derails whenever we have house guests or i hit critical on the energy or the sky starts falling (for whatever reason it is this time).    Sometimes i think its inevitable that life will get in the way. Some things do take precedence. But you can build habits as coping mechanisms too. Taking a walk when I'm stressed is soothing. When i get stuck in my head or need to work of steam i yoga now. These things help when life throws spanners into plans.  having a back up plan for not being able to use the home gym might help. When we have guests or the house is chaos i have to work out in a different room, but maybe there is a local gym you can use as a backup (also nice to have a neutral space to escape to and decompress)
