I've been thinking about this question a lot. So many body role models for women are just so skinny. That's not really my goal... it's hard to come up with one!

Someone posted the UFC chick... Gina Carano I think? Google Image her.
She's not super-skinny, but also no creepily muscled. Most girls I know who have good body image goals are wanting to look like her or Jillian Michaels.

Gina Carano is almost a little too buly for me. I do adore Jillian Michaels those because i know she is 5'2" tall and weighs about 118. My current height is 5' 1(1/2)" and I am about 118 and don't look anything like that. I feel like pics are so hard to judge so my mian goal is just to not be jiggly! I do agree though that most hollywood women are too skinny

I've been looking for a good picture of a reasonable sized girl to give me some perspective, Gina Carano actually looks achievable for me! I'm 4 inches shorter than her, so maybe not 145lbs, maybe for me 135 is better.... Let's see when we get there, I'm aiming for 150 at the moment, and I've got 35lbs to go.
Thanks so much Ana! That's brilliant.

Women and weight is a weird thing. It is in men as well, but it seems even worse in women. My wife has not lost a pound 6 months, yet we're having to buy slimmer pants and had to go down a bra size, plus she know has a lot more definition in the legs and arms and wants to show them more.
So, don't judge by weight, judge by how you look and feel.

So, don't judge by weight, judge by how you look and feel. Oh definitely. I've lost 12 pounds since June 25, and 17 inches (total). I'm getting smaller faster than I'm getting lighter, that's why my first goal is still 150; I just don't know what's best, but it's fun to gauge what might be, kinda like the next, next step. Having something tangible gives me more finality to the goal, but I still want my body to look like mine and not Gina Carano's.

As a woman, I definitely want curves and muscles, without looking like a bodybuilder. I'll never achieve the less than 10% bodyfat even if I wanted to! I love the photo of Gina Carano, and since I'm 5'7", it might be close to achievable for me.
But as much as I want to look good, I REALLY want to be able to move without effort, run when I want, kick with ease, and dance all night!

I don't know who I want to look like. I've been down to a 34E and I'm 5'4'' at my lightest weight. And I have no idea who looks like that.
I want to look like me. But narrower. How bout that?

I would say this is pretty damn close to what I'm shooting for.

definitely going for the Ryan Kwanten look. he's the actor who plays Jason Stackhouse on True Blood. I really like his workout philosophy too - he does a bunch of "no gym" type stuff. running and bodyweight exercises. that's what I'm into too I'll never starve myself to get my bodyfat that insanely low - I doubt I'll ever see my abs again, and I don't really care, that's not what matters to me. but that dude looks slender and strong. that's what I want, and I totally have the body type for it.
