War is coming. The land of Arcadea is in trouble.
In the very near future, portals to this war-torn land will open, and you’ll have the chance to create your own destiny, take part in an epic battle, and eventually earn your place in the Hall of Heroes.
Will you choose to establish order and save civilization, or bring chaos and raze it to the ground?
In the real world, people lift, run, and train to stay in shape.
In Arcadea, people lift, run, and train to stay alive.
In Rising Heroes, you’ll do both.
As we speak, members of the Order of the Elders are working around the clock to stabilize the gateways that connect our world and Arcadea. Although they’ve made great progress, more time is needed before we can guarantee the portal’s stability.

Rising Heroes is born
Rising Heroes is a game/tracking app where you level up a character in-game by leveling up in real life.
The game/fitness tracking program will take place in Arcadea, a land torn apart by two warring factions battling for control.
If you’ve been an active member of the Nerd Fitness community and participated in our 6-Week Challenges at any point over the past two years, you’ve actually been playing a part of this game already! We’ve had you select a character class, compete in “player vs. player” challenges, and complete quests to “level up” your character.
This has all been done to set up our eventual launch of Rising Heroes.
Our goal is to integrate all of these tasks, quests, and missions into an online multiplayer fitness game that encourages you to form groups, complete quests, defeat dungeon bosses, and more. You’ll pick from two factions, 10-12 different classes, a number of races, and then start kicking ass.
Unfortunately, game development is quite the arduous process! We’re still early on in the development progress and have an incredibly small team working on this project in their spare time to bring this to life.

Recently, we ran a beta/donation campaign here on Nerd Fitness to help fund the costs of developing Rising Heroes.
There was such an overwhelming response to the campaign that we’ve chosen to suspend additional invites for the time being so that we can work closely with the hundreds of folks that signed up within the first ten days.
We may decide to open the program back up for more beta testers in the near future; along with contests to win entry into Arcadea. If you’re interested in being part of the process, you can sign up for more information below!
