The only fantasy race young Ingus truly ever identified with, were the hobbits: he loved comfort and walking barefoot, and the idea of having a second breakfast, as well as tea time at four, seemed most appealing. The only thing grander than being a hobbit, he thought, would be a hobbit-wizard. Reality never engaged him much, and so he spent his years reading books, dreaming about magic powers, and imagining a life in which he was someone awesome.
A spiritual awakening came when he was seventeen years of age, and reality turned into something more magical than he could've ever imagined. However, it took him six more years before the Powers That Be bestowed another awakening upon him, in the form of a woman (as it often happens), and brought him to the virtual doorstep of a mysterious figure who claimed to go by the name of Steve. Even though Ingus knew WHAT he wanted to do, it was Steve who showed him HOW to do it and changed his life.
Ever since then Ingus is living a double life: to some he is just another student, just another teacher. But he knows he is actually Daeiribu, a superhero-in-training, destined for greatness.
