Travel

My Story

Born in Chicago.
Grew up in Northwest Indiana farm country -- I spent most of it indoors reading, playing video games, playing guitar, or drawing and paining... and eating.
College at IU-Nortwest, then IU-Bloomington. BS Biology.
Worked at the University of Georgia-Athens for two years.
Worked on a PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but dropped out with a MS in Genetics.
I spent two years in an Amazon.com warehouse, and now I work as a CNC Machinist.

I was a fat kid, and despite my best efforts, I have always struggled with my weight. In college I studied Kung Fu and though it got me down to 212 lbs. in 2008, I gained it all back over the years. I joined the NF forums in 2013 and took up powerlifting, and got stronger, but never got below 240 since.

I am here for guidance in building fitness and health habits that I can continue to sustain, drop the weight, and stay healthy and live longer.
