My Story

Hi everybody,

I am Casbin, a 29 year old guy from Germany.
For my everyday life I'm an orthopedic shoemaker (insoles, individual shoes, that kind of stuff), a bit unusual but not exatly interesting (you know, feet *urgh*).
For appearance, you'd se a rather quiet, friendly, skinny guy with the obligatory glasses.

Or should I say, that is what you are supposed to see.

Because there is this other half of me that's been struggling to get the upper hand.
A much more competitive side that loves to push it's boundaries.
Be it longdistance running, a new sport, ideas and concepts or a different language.

It is like the scale, you might be able to even them out or they'll be tipping to one side completely and I'd rather not have that again.

My vision of a Lvl.50 Character:

It's 5 a.m. and my eyes just opened beating the alarm.
Good, I turn it of and leave quietly to let the rest of the house sleep on.
I push myself through the strength exercises and favour a fresh breakfast after a quick shower.
I've still got some time left, so I get myself another cup of tea and scan the newspapers before I leave for work.

A quick look on the schedule tells me that we are well ahead on our schedule, very good.
The rest of the day isn't putting up much of a surprise, we'll have to change the timetable a bit and there are some details to be discussed but it can wait for our weekly teammeeting on friday.

It's time to head out for my dance class at 5 p.m. and I check in with a friend to make sure our plans for a small barbecue and some beachvolleyball are still in place. We chat a bit about my latest trip to france and planning our hiking tour on the Way of St. James in August but we'll have to cover it in more detail tomorrow.
Time to change, this is gonna be fun.
