Coach Justin’s origin story starts the same way many of ours do: with uncertainty and complete overwhelm.
In his early 20s, he knew he needed to do something, but after trying fad diets, 30-day challenges, being completely intimidated by the gym, and combatting his “all or nothing” mentality, he felt pretty defeated.
It wasn’t until he embraced the idea of slow, consistent habit change (and having a Coach himself!) that he started seeing the long-term results he was after. This approach has served his personal goals for nearly 20 years, and he uses this foundation in all of his Coaching relationships.
As a member of Team Nerd Fitness, Justin is able to empathize and meet clients where they are, understand their goals, and put together a plan to be 1% better each day.

While working with Justin, I made clear my golf goals were as important as my fitness goals. He worked with me to build workouts designed around improving my golf game. The weight loss and improved strength and flexibility also greatly helped me.

I wish I could say something cool like Goldeneye or Zelda. But I can’t… Sim City. Yup, you read that right. I like building fantasy cities and watching them grow.
What are you passionately nerdy about?
Learning. I love learning anything. I’ll fall in love with a topic and want to know everything about it. Give me some books, courses, and a laptop to Google on and I will spend hours diving deep. Recently, photography, whiskey, improv, brewing the perfect cup of coffee, knife skills, and archery have caught my attention.
