A New Challenge Appears!

A new challenge appears!

By the time you read this, I’ll have returned from my epic adventure on the Rock Boat, where I ate way too much bad food, drank an adult beverage or five, and gambled away the rights to the Nerd Fitness Rebellion.  Don’t worry, I won them back!

What kind of idiot do you think I am?

(Don’t answer that.)

To be completely honest, the past two posts have truly worn me out – one that broke the needle off the nerdiness scale and a 6,000+ word epic post about Crossfit…so I wanted to take it easy on you today.

And by that…I mean today’s article won’t take you six hours to read like the last one.

You’ll still need to level up your life.

In a BIG way.

Luckily, there’s a community of people ready, willing, and able to help you make that happen.

We’re launching another 6-week challenge on the Nerd Fitness Message boards today!

Dragon Slaying 101

Last week, I told you the tale of my friend Saint the Dragon Slayer.

This week, I want to help YOU get started down the path towards becoming a Dragon Slayer too; it starts by making a commitment to improving your life over the next six weeks.

Now, this is the important part….you’re not expected to dominate every life goal you’ve ever had in a month and a half; it doesn’t work that way.

Instead, I want you to pick goals that are reachable in the next 6 weeks…SPECIFIC GOALS that can be tracked, analyzed, and adjusted if necessary.

If you’re new to the NF 6-week challenges, here’s what you need to know – the people who have the MOST success in these challenges:

Last week I met up with Jim from BeastSkills.com (go now, and be amazed), and we discussed how important that social component is to finding success in weight loss, muscle building, and in life.

If you don’t have a community in real life cheering you on (or even if you do!), consider joining the Nerd Fitness community.  It’s home to almost 5,000 members all over the world that want nothing more than to watch YOU succeed.  If you have a question about how to do something, or want to vent your frustration with something you’re struggling with, hop on the boards – I guarantee there are folks online right then who will listen and can’t wait to help.

And it’s free.  Everybody likes free!

And whether you want to be a paleo-eating powerlifter, vegan marathon runner, fire dancer, parkour traceur,  or ANYTHING in between, I guarantee you can find like minded people on there.  It’s truly inspiring to see so many people so willing to help out others.

No joke – whenever I’m having a bad day, I go hang out on the boards for 20 minutes and then feel like I can run through walls.  Sometimes I even DO run through walls.

Forge your future

These dragons aren’t going to fight themselves!

If they did, that would be awesome to watch though…who wouldn’t want to watch epic dragon battles?

But alas, life is not fair.  So it is us who must slay the foul beasts.

Join the 6-week challenge today, follow the instructions, and start making positive changes TODAY.

Don’t ever feel like you’re alone, no matter your situation at home.  You have THOUSANDS of dragon slayers fighting alongside you.

The future is not yet written, my friend.  Feel free to forge your future in whatever manner you see fit.

And then make it happen.

Go.

-Steve

PS – We’re selling through Nerd Fitness t-shirts and tanks faster than we can order them…sorry if we’re out of certain sizes!  All sizes should be back in stock within a few days!
