I have a love-hate relationship with social media.
I am always trying to figure out how to personally connect and share with NF Rebels around the world (hey that’s you!), but also protecting my mental health and happiness.
Which brings me to today!
After a few years of starting and stopping my relationship with social media, I think I’ve finally cracked the code. I’ve been posting consistently and really having fun with it for the past month.
So, what was the big change?
I stopped trying to be like other people…
And just started being me.
Steve.
Goofy, disastrous Steve.
This is WAY more fun!
I want you to be a part of the good-vibes-only party I’m throwing on social media.
I am also working on a super secret personal project that I can announce in 2024 and will be discussing on social media semi-regularly.
If you’re like, “Steve I’m here for your goofiness, where do I follow?” …
Follow me @SteveKamb on Instagram
You might already be following Nerd Fitness on Instagram, but you should ALSO be following me @SteveKamb!
Here’s why:
I’m a disaster with self-doubt and impostor syndrome who sometimes gets stuff done.
I wake up with anxiety and get distracted and things fall apart all the time.
That’s life. I don’t have it all figured out. But I read a lot of random stuff and come up with wild ideas and share fun stories.
So, you’ll just get more STEVE on there!
Follow me @stevekamb on Threads
Believe it or not, I’m loving Threads right now.
Threads feels like Twitter did back in 2012: the fun connections and community building without needing to put on a Kevlar suit to defend myself against psychos.
I’m sharing new ideas there daily so follow me @stevekamb!
I’m having fun again. Thanks.
I’ve been doing this “put stuff on the internet and try to help others” for 15 years now. I’m a completely different person now than I was when I started.
And comically, I find that I have to consistently learn the same lessons over and over and over again.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been doing my best to have fun again, and it seems to be working.
I’d love for you to be a part of it and connect with me on the platform of your choice!
Not on social media? No big deal – I’ll still send you a handcrafted newsletter every week, directly from my weird brain to your inbox.
Thanks for being here, and I hope we get a chance to connect in 2024.
-Steve
