I am not sure what level of activity I have… I am a primary teacher, I start my day by doing a 5-10 minute home work-out, I walk 7 minutes to and from school, always take the stairs when I have to walk up and down, I try to stand as much as possible in the classroom… Is this considered lightly or moderately? The exercises I do are beginner’s level and possibly considered a warm-up for an intermediate level…
I would guess you are not quite at the moderately active level. Select the light activity and calculate your caloric deficit from your TDEE figure. If your TDEE is 2000 cal p/d, then subtract 200-500 cal p/d from that figure.
